How to use Plunge AI Consulting: the portal where your company follows its work, the dashboard where the firm runs it, and the rules underneath both.

Describes the service as of 2026-10-25

**Three sites.** The public site [consulting.plungeai.com](https://consulting.plungeai.com/) shows the four boxes and the Talk to us form. Clients work in the portal at [consulting-portal.plungeai.com](https://consulting-portal.plungeai.com/). The firm works in its dashboard at consulting-dashboard.plungeai.com. You sign in to both with a Plunge AI account. Payments run through Stripe in test mode until the terms pass legal review.

## For clients

This part is for the people at your company. The portal shows where your work stands, what waits on you, what you owe and what we delivered. Each page in the sidebar also answers in the concierge, the chat on every page.

The portal pages are: Home, Waiting on you, Findings, Proposals, Your order, Sign and pay, Onboarding, Timeline, Deliverables, Change orders, Go-live, What we delivered, Billing, Invoice, Usage, Run plan, Renewal, Messages, My dashboard, Documents, Team, Data and exit and Concierge history. Your role decides which of them you see.

## Getting in

There are three ways in.

1. **You buy a size on the site.** Press Start on a size, then sign in or create a Plunge AI account. The portal opens on Your order.
2. **You talk to us first.** Send the Talk to us form. After the call, your proposal waits for you in the portal under Proposals.
3. **A colleague invites you.** Your sponsor invites you from the Team page. Sign in with a Plunge AI account under the email address the invite went to.

If you are in the portal but see no company, ask your sponsor for an invite. If you work with more than one company, Home lets you switch between them.

## Roles

Every person on your side has one of four roles. The sponsor sets them on the Team page.

| Role | What they do | Money |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Sponsor** | Signs order forms, change orders and renewals; pays; invites and removes people. Your company always keeps at least one sponsor: the last one cannot be removed. | Sees all of it and pays. |
| **Approver** | Approves deliveries or requests changes, and accepts go-live. | Sees invoices, read only. |
| **Technical lead** | Handles keys, connections, deployed URLs and test reports, and decides on technical deliveries. | Sees no amounts. |
| **Viewer** | Reads status, deliveries and documents, and asks the concierge. | Sees no money and makes no decisions. |

Everyone can read the status, write to the firm in Messages and ask the concierge.

## Ordering a size

We sell four boxes. Each box comes in three sizes. Each size on [the price list](https://consulting.plungeai.com/#prices) states its price, what you get, what we need from you, its delivery days and its review rounds. The prices come live from our catalog.

| Box | Small | Medium | Large |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| **Discover** — "Where can AI help us?" | Research report | AI Audit | Diagnostic |
| **Build** — "Build it and put it live." | Prototype | Agent | Application |
| **Connect** — "We want to build it ourselves." | Quickstart | Team | Enterprise |
| **Run** — "Keep it working." | Essential | Standard | Critical |

### Bought at checkout

These sizes are self-serve: you buy them on the site without a call. They are the Research report, the AI Audit, the Diagnostic, the Prototype, the Quickstart, Team and Enterprise. The firm may switch any of them off for a time.

### Sold from a proposal

- An **Agent** needs a signed recommendation first, from a Prototype, an AI Audit or a Diagnostic.
- An **Application** is quoted only after a Diagnostic.
- A **Run** plan is sold on a build's order form, or for a system we already delivered. It is billed monthly.

For anything else, send the Talk to us form. The owner replies; an AI drafts that reply and the owner approves it before it is sent. After a call you get a proposal with two or three options from the boxes, priced from the catalog. The firm takes a limited number of engagements at a time, so a proposal may offer a later start.

## Your order and the fit check

After a self-serve purchase, the portal opens on **Your order**. It shows what you bought, the size's intake questions, what we need from you (access, data, people) and the start date. You can answer or edit the intake until the fit check.

Every self-serve order gets a fit check from its intake answers within one business day. A person at the firm decides it.

- **It fits:** the work starts.
- **It does not fit:** the sponsor chooses. Swap to the matching Discover size with the full amount credited, or take a full refund.

Once the work runs, Your order also shows the delivery date, the review rounds you used, any credit forward and, once released, the delivered files.

## Signing and paying

The sponsor signs and pays on **Sign and pay**. One flow covers both.

1. Read the order form: the box and size, any credit, the terms version and the earliest start date.
2. Tick that you accept the terms and type your full name. That is your signature.
3. Pay through Stripe Checkout, by card or US bank transfer.

From a proposal, the sponsor first chooses one option on **Proposals**, or declines with a reason. Signing then leads straight to paying the first part. Every signed document and its certificate stays on **Documents**.

### Links in your email

Sign, pay and review links by email work without a login. Each works once, for 7 days, and only for the person it was sent to. A used or old link says so and points you to the portal. A pay link counts as used only once the payment goes through.

## Following the work

****Home****
Where your engagement stands and what comes next.

****Waiting on you****
What needs you now: signatures, reviews, payments and to-dos, with their age.

****Onboarding****
The few things we need from you to start, with who does each: invite people, create a key, connect a system, book the kickoff.

****Timeline****
Milestones, due dates and everything that happened, newest first. Complete your to-dos here.

****Findings****
For a Discover box: what we found, the options we compared and what we recommend. The sponsor can correct a finding and accept the recommendation.

****Messages****
Write to your lead. The thread shows when to expect a reply.

****My dashboard****
The answers you pinned from the concierge, in one place.

The firm also sends a weekly status memo while work is running.

## Reviewing a delivery

Every delivery waits for your sign-off on **Deliverables**, or from the review link in your email. Approvers and sponsors decide; a technical lead decides on technical deliveries.

- **Approve** accepts the version you see.
- **Request changes** sends it back with your note and uses one review round.

A Small includes one review round; a Medium and a Large include two. A round fixes what was agreed. A request past the included rounds becomes a change order.

### Go-live

A build ends on **Go-live**. The deployed URL must answer and the test report must pass before the approver can accept it. If either fails, the page says why and the button stays off.

Before a build starts, our agents write its spec pack: the requirements, an effort estimate (you see a range of days, never our hours), a clickable prototype and a test charter. You approve the charter’s pass mark before any test result is shown. Today a person builds the system with our coding agent; our software factory takes builds over once it agrees with our own review on 20 of them.

**What we delivered** lists everything handed over: links, workflows, runbooks, documents and keys. Keys are made on your own Plunge account and shown by id and prefix only.

## Change orders

Work beyond a size is a change order. **Change orders** shows what changes, its price and its effect on dates. The sponsor accepts it with a typed name or declines it with a reason. Nothing in it runs before the sponsor accepts, and declining costs nothing.

## Billing

**Billing** holds all the money in one view: what is due now, what you paid, your credits, the payment schedule of your size, accepted change orders, your Run plan and your payment methods. **Invoice** shows one invoice and how to pay it. Sponsors act here; approvers read.

- **Credits.** Credit forward shows with its expiry. When a delivery came late, you choose here to keep 20 % of the price as credit or have it refunded.
- **Usage.** Your systems run on your own Plunge account. **Usage** shows this month's platform usage against your cap. It is paid from your Plunge wallet and never re-invoiced by us.
- **Run plan.** **Run plan** shows what your monthly plan covers and its health. **Renewal** says what it is: nothing renews, and Care stops at the end of the month you cancel.

## Your team

On **Team**, the sponsor invites people, changes their roles and removes them. Everyone sets their own mail switches there. Billing and signature mail always reaches the sponsors, whatever the switches say.

## Data and exit

**Data and exit** shows the terms version you accepted and the data processing agreement. The sponsor can download all of your company's data there: documents, signature certificates, invoices and the timeline. The sponsor can also start offboarding, which opens a checklist for leaving cleanly. To have your data erased, see [Privacy](https://consulting.plungeai.com/privacy).

## The concierge

The concierge is the chat on every portal page. Ask it "Where are we?", "What do I owe?" or "What's waiting on me?". It answers with the same cards as the pages, and shows only what your role may see. Pin any answer to My dashboard.

It can act for you, but anything that changes money or scope shows a confirm card first. It never signs an order form for you: it opens Sign and pay. When it cannot help, it hands your question to the owner. Past threads are on **Concierge history**.

## For the firm

This part is for the firm. The owner runs everything from the dashboard, from the sidebar or from the chat. Each sidebar page also answers in the chat as a card, and the chat shows a confirm card before any change to money or scope. Agents prepare the work; the owner approves it.

## The day

1. **Home.** A morning briefing: money in, what is overdue, sign-offs waiting, approvals, renewals due and capacity, each line with one action. KPI tiles and your pinned views sit below.
2. **Approvals.** Decide the drafts the agents wrote overnight.
3. **Feed.** Risks and nudges ranked by urgency, at most ten a day.
4. **Signed / not signed.** Who owes a signature or a payment, and since when, with the chase state of each.
5. **Exceptions.** What the automatic work could not do by itself.

## Approvals

Every AI draft lands in **Approvals** before it reaches a client. Each shows to whom, why, a one-line summary and the draft. For each one:

-   **Approve and send** it as it stands;
-   **Edit** it by hand, or **edit by instruction** ("shorter, mention the invoice") for a new draft;
- **Reject** it.

Fit checks arrive here too: each self-serve order with a drafted fit check from its intake answers. Decide "fits", or offer the matching Discover size instead.

## Sales

****Pipeline** and **Lead****
Leads by stage, from first message to won or lost. One lead shows its research, call notes, the reply draft and the next step.

****Proposals****
Each proposal with its options, versions and where it stands. Draft one from a call, change it by instruction, approve and send.

****Diagnostic****
A Discover engagement: evidence, findings, options and the recommendation the client validates.

****Capacity****
How much work the firm can take on, against its caps. A proposal that would pass a cap offers a later start.

****Clients****
Every client with its stage, money and next step, and its team invites.

## Delivery

****Engagements****
Every engagement by stage, with its health and next step. Open one for its phases, milestones, deliverables, money and sign-offs.

****Delivery****
Milestones across engagements, by who they wait on.

****Deliverable****
One deliverable: its versions, review rounds and what the client said. Send it for review from here.

****Change orders****
Scope changes: drafted, sent, accepted or declined.

****Provisioning****
Keys, desks, workflows and URLs set up on the client's account, with their checks.

****Messages****
Client threads, newest first, with what is due a reply.

## Money

****Revenue and margin****
Money in, cost and margin by stream and box.

****Invoices****
Every invoice and payment: open, paid and overdue.

****Run plans****
Monthly Run plans, their health and their terms.

****Usage****
Clients' platform usage, caps and result meters.

****Hours****
Time spent per engagement, by kind, from the touch log.

## Settings

- **The four boxes** is the catalog: prices, sizes and their rules, and the switch that makes each size self-serve. The price list on the site reads it live.
- **Capacity** sets how many engagements the firm takes at a time.
- **Settings** holds the rates, the caps, the message templates and the autonomy per message type. A type set to automatic is sent without approval. Proposals, statements of work, change orders, invoice notes, fit checks and renewals can never be automatic.
- **Audit log** records every action, who did it and when, with a CSV export.

## Scheduled jobs

These run on the platform scheduler. Each one makes drafts for Approvals or items for the Feed. None sends a client message by itself, except receipts and links.

| Job | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| Sign-off chasers | A reminder after 48 hours, then after 96 hours; at most two, then an exception for the owner. |
| Overdue reminders | Reminders for invoices past their due date. |
| Account holds | At 15 days overdue, no new work starts. |
| Weekly status memos | One memo per running engagement. |
| Care periods | Bills each month of Care at its start. Care stops at the end of the month you cancel. |
| Run health reports | The report on each Run plan. |
| Daily briefing | The morning lines on Home. |
| Late-delivery check | Flags deliveries at risk of passing their date. |
| Scope watch | Weekly: flags client requests that go past what was sold. |

## How it works

This part is for everyone: the same steps and rules hold under every box. [Terms](https://consulting.plungeai.com/terms) is the binding text; this page explains it.

## The five steps

1. **Pick a box.** The price, the days and what you get are on the page.
2. **Sign and pay.** Card or bank transfer. Nothing starts before it is paid.
3. **We deliver in days.** Our agents do the work and we check it. You see progress in your portal.
4. **You sign off.** In your portal, or from a link in your email.
5. **It keeps running.** A Run plan keeps it working, and your fee counts toward the next box.

## The money rules

- **Paid before it starts.** No work or phase starts before it is paid.
- **Phase invoices.** A size paid in parts is invoiced phase by phase. For a size paid 50/50, the second half is invoiced when the delivery is ready, and the delivery is released when that invoice is paid.
- **Credit forward.** Every Discover fee and every Small fee counts in full toward the next box you buy within 60 days.
- **Late payment.** At 15 days overdue, no new work starts until the invoice is paid.
- **Run plans.** Billed monthly in advance, with a 6-month minimum after a build.
- **Platform usage.** Paid from your own Plunge wallet, never re-invoiced.

## The delivery clock

Delivery is counted in working days. The clock starts on the day you completed what the size needs from you: access, data and people. It pauses while a sign-off or a to-do waits on you. Your portal shows the due date and the paused time.

We deliver on time, or you get 20 % of the size's price back. The sponsor chooses credit or a refund on Billing.
