# Models, providers and slugs

> Every routable model with context, list and Ocean price per 1M tokens, % off and capabilities.


Every model the gateway routes, from `GET /v1/pricing` (public, no key) when these docs are published. `GET /v1/models` (with your key) returns the same models in the OpenAI shape, with `pricing.list`, `pricing.ocean` and `pricing.discount_pct`. ## Model ids

A model id is the canonical `author/model` spelling, the same as OpenRouter's (for example `openai/gpt-5`). Send that id as `model`: a posted model then routes to the cheapest host holding a key and bills at the posted price.

To pin one host, send that host's upstream slug instead of the canonical id. The request then goes only to that host and bills as passthrough (`x-ocean-pricing: passthrough`).
